The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie two Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies towards the community.

SASSA will probably be rendering services like new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer care enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency stated it's alarmed about the significant variety of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The purpose from the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the large number sassa status check of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“That is as a result of lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no completely functional office devoted to service the area daily. The provider level established for intervention encounters a significant inflow of likely beneficiaries, which makes it hard with the office to attend to all people who check out a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise extra assets to empower the servicing of all clients and maximize access to Social Assistance providers,” the agency said.
